AmaTuks remain top of the table, but there are now just two unbeaten teams in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Tuks are one of those teams, and they ended the unbeaten run of All Stars, when the University of Pretoria won 1-0 on Sunday afternoon, thanks to Ayanda Mvambi’s solitary goal.

The other team yet to taste defeat is Uthongathi, as Lerato Ntamane fired them to a 1-0 win on Sunday, beating Magesi FC in KwaZulu-Natal.

On Saturday Mumuni Abubakar scored a brace as Casric Stars beat Pretoria Callies 2-1 at home, while in the other three Saturday results the score ended the same, but in the favour of the away teams.

JDR Stars beat Hungry Lions 2-1 Black Leopards went down to Platinum City Rovers by the same scoreline, while it was also a 2-1 win for Tshakhuma over Baroka.

An interesting weekend where all eight matches produced results.
