Sello Maake kaNcube, a legend, has joined the cast of Skeem Saam.
Tuesday, October 11 will mark his debut in the role of Ntate Kganyago.
Sello (62) is well-known for his roles on The Queen, Blood & Water, Generations, The River, and Vula Vala, among others.
He was also a member of the cast of The Lion King for a number of years.
However, he could not reveal much about his character on Skeem Saam, but he did say that people would enjoy seeing him on television.
“Ntate Kganyago is Lizzy (Amanda Mankupatient )’s at Turf Hospital.
“He cautions Lizzy about a potential con artist with whom she was considering going on a date.
“The remainder of his character will be revealed with time,” he stated.
According to Sello, Ntate Kganyago, who recently celebrated 40 years as an actor, is exceptional.
“As the story progresses, the unique qualities of the character will become apparent, and his stance will be revealed to all,” he said.
When asked how long he would remain on the show, he replied, “This cannot be confirmed at this time.”
“It will depend on the length of the story arc.”
He also disclosed some of the current work he is performing.
“I’m currently working on a documentary and drama series based on the book The Land is Ours by Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi,” he explained. – Daily Sun
