In many countries, they have distributors/ plants and manufacture not only vehicles but also steel, cork materials, rubber, woollen goods and more. However, Toyota’s main aim is to create a flourishing society by focusing its business on the sales and production of vehicles as well as be a power-house in the corporate world by contributing to society via their business operation.
Their initiatives are a reflection of their values, mindset and drive and are formed by their corporate principles and strong relationship with clientèle and stakeholders. Toyota South Africa was formed in 1961 and has become a big part of local culture.
