Kaizer Chiefs and Siwelele were initially set to do battle at 15:00 on Sunday at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium. The PSL has now announced the fixture will now get underway at 18:00 on the same day.
This further means the game will kick-off as the same time as Stellenbosch FC vs AmaZulu FC at the Danie Craven Stadium in the Western Cape.
KAIZER CHIEFS VS SIWELELE FC FIXTURE CHANGE EXPLAINED
According to the PSL, the decision was made to accommodate Mamelodi Sundowns’ CAF Super Cup commitments.
The CAF Champions League holders are scheduled to compete for continental honours on Sunday, prompting the league to revise the afternoon schedule.
“The Carling Knockout Cup quarter-final match between Kaizer Chiefs and Siwelele FC has been rescheduled, with kick-off moved from 15h00 to 18h00,” the PSL said.
“The adjustment has been made in consideration of Sunday’s CAF Super Cup fixture involving Mamelodi Sundowns. Consequently, both Carling Knockout Cup quarter-final matches scheduled for Sunday will now kick off at 18h00.’
The PSL also extended its best wishes to Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their CAF Super Cup assignment and to all eight teams competing in the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-finals.

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS IN THE SEMI-FINALS
Meanwhile, Sundowns have marched into the Carling Knockout semi-finals after beating Golden Arrows at the Loftus Versfeld, thanks to an Iqraam Rayners header in the second half.
The remaning quarterf-final games include Orlando Pirates vs Sekhukhune United on Saturday in Soweto at 15:00, and Stellenbosch FC vs AmaZulu FC in Stellenbosch on Sunday at 18:00.
