Chippa United have secured the signing of goalkeeper Masizakhe Myataza after their deadline day sale of Sipho Chaine to Orlando Pirates
The 26-year-old stopper is the latest signing of Chippa as he completes his return to the Eastern Cape-based side after recently parting ways with Cape Town All Stars before its rebranding and relocation to Gauteng as All Stars FC.
The Tsomo-born talent won the Nedbank Cup with TS Galaxy in 2018/19 season when they defeated Kaizer Chiefs and he’s not new to the Chilli Boys side as he previously played for the side in 2017 before joining Galaxy in the National First Division.
iDiskiTimes can confirm that he’s completed his move on a two-year deal with the DStv Premiership outfit and will compete with Lloyd Kazapuwa and Kewen Prince for a place in the starting line-up.
The Chilli Boys have conceded 11 goals this season in nine matches they’ve played this season as they sit eighth in the top-flight.
