Trevor Noah bids farewell to The Daily Show after seven years

Comedian Trevor Noah has been the talk of social media for the past several hours, all for a good reason, both for his personal and professional life. Trevor’s relationship with Dua Lipa has been one of the most talked about topics on Twitter after they were spotted kissing. Trevor Noah has added paraffin to the fire after he announced that he is leaving The Daily show, which he has been hosting for the past seven years.

In his recent segment of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah talked about his time on the show with his audience. The host talked about how one of his crew members behind the scenes had asked him if he knew this was their seventh year on the show. According to him, the time has moved so fast that he feels like he recently started hosting the show, even though it has been years.

This led Trevor Noah to decide it was time to quit the show for other things. Noah told his audience that he was not leaving immediately but would be part of the crew soon until they formally found a way forward. When narrating how he got the job in the first place, Trevor said it was a big gamble that was taken on him and paid off. The South African-born comedian called himself someone unknown on the International platform and was given an opportunity on one of the biggest shows in America.

However, other fans are trying to link the news of his farewell on The Daily Show to the rumoured romance between him and Pop star Dua Lipa who he was spotted locking lips a few hours before the announcement. Some are even starting theories where Dua Lipa asked him to quit his job, given her past relationship did not work because of the ice and inability to travel together.
