The heartfelt words reflect a love that goes beyond grand gestures, describing a bond rooted in intimacy, understanding and a connection that feels inseparable.

In the message, Mia shared a passage from a poem by Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, expressing a love that exists beyond appearances and material things.

“I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz, or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off. I love you as certain mysterious things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul,” the passage reads.

A love that goes beyond words

The romantic passage continues by describing a love that grows quietly, much like a plant that never blooms but carries the light of hidden flowers within it.

“Thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance, risen from the earth, lives solidly within my bones,” the poem continues.

The words paint a picture of a love that becomes part of a person’s being, offering a sense of comfort, belonging and emotional closeness.

The passage also speaks to the simplicity of loving someone without needing to explain exactly how or when those feelings began.

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride,” it reads.

A message about an inseparable bond

The poem concludes with a powerful description of two people whose lives and emotions become deeply intertwined.

“So I love you because I know no other way than this: where I do not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep,” the passage reads.

The message offers a tender glimpse into the romance surrounding Mia’s wedding day, placing the focus on the emotional meaning of love and the closeness shared between partners.

Through the passage, the wedding glimpse becomes more than a celebration of a special occasion. It is also a reflection on the kind of love that is deeply felt, quietly nurtured and expressed through the everyday moments two people share.
