Banyana Banyana will be aiming to complete the job when they face Madagascar in the second leg of their 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games qualifiers at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein on Tuesday, October 13.
The match, scheduled to kick off at 18:00, comes after the South African senior women’s national team registered an emphatic 4-0 victory over Madagascar in the first leg on Friday, October 9.
A hat-trick from Ronnel Donnelly, coupled with an own goal by a Malagasy defender, gave Banyana a commanding advantage heading into the return encounter.
However, despite their impressive first-leg performance, Banyana will know that the job is not yet finished as they seek to secure their place in the next round of the African Olympic qualifying competition.
