Gomora actress Pretty ‘Siyasanga Papu‘s singing vocals leave Mzansi puzzled as she proves that she is a good singer in real life. In the Gomora storyline, Pretty has singing talent, but she was never given a chance to explore her skills. The star took to Instagram to show Mzansi that her storyline on Gomora reflects her actual life. She shared a video on her Instagram singing; her vocals were on point, drawing comparisons to iconic American singer Beyonce.

An Instagram user commented:

Siyasanga Papu’s video singing took social media by storm, with her fans advising her to join the Idols SA singing competition. Mzansi already sees her as the next big thing, as they were impressed by her melodic vocals.

This is not the first time the actress has been trending for her excellent singing techniques. She top trended on social media after performing at Buhle Ndaba’s memorial service on Gomora. Gomora fans took it to Twitter to analyse her singing vocals, and many complimented that she was a pure talent with the potential to become an award-winning musician.

Siyasanga’s angelic voice can never go unnoticed; as a vocalist, she has a 6-pice band called Morning Dew. The actress has abandoned her singing career to focus on acting, but she seems to have found her feet gain in singing.

The Gomora star also pointed out that she loves performing. Captioning her video, she wrote:

Siyasanga Papu on the Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora

On Gomora, the character Pretty is the youngest daughter of MaSonto; she is married to her unemployed husband, Sbonga (Khaya Mthembu). Pretty grew up under the shadow of her elder sister Thati who took all the compliments from her. The two siblings grew up rivals due to the rift and gap created by their mother who favour Thati more than Pretty.

Pretty started singing at a young age, but she didn’t have anyone to encourage her to pursue her singing career. However, her high school boyfriend supported her, and the couple planned to move to the United States to chase a singing career. Pretty’s dream was shattered when her boyfriend ditched her and travelled alone without saying a word. Pretty felt neglected and buried her talent in singing; after decades, her high school boyfriend popped up from nowhere and resurrected her passion for music.
