Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo from Marumo Gallants on Deadline day.

Ndlondlo who has been one of the rare shining lights at Gallants this season put pen to paper on a three-year deal, the club announced.

The signing of the 27-year-old comes as a surprise after coach Jose Riveiro had long insisted the club are done making signings.

However, on Thursday, the Buccaneers confirmed the arrival of the skilful midfielder.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo,” the club said via a statement.

“The 27-year-old joins the Mighty Buccaneers on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Marumo Gallants.

“Blessed with superb technical ability, creativity, an incisive range of passing and a willingness to work hard for his team, Ndlondo has shown to be adept in both in attack and defensive situations.”

Ndlondlo started at now defunct Maccabi FC, before it was bought by Swallows. But the diminutive midfielder made his name at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, which later became Gallants.
