HE IS THE HIGHEST EARNING TIKTOKER
According to the nypost, Senegalese-born Italian TikToker Khaby Lame has 149 million followers today and can make about R13 million per video.
According to Fortune, Lame said in an interview that he not only makes money off of the millions of views each of his videos receives, but he also makes money from endorsement deals. Given that he can earn up to $750,000 per episode, he is set to earn $10 million by 2022.
The majority of his salary is derived from endorsement deals in the form of online content. According to industry estimates, he earns about $400,000 per TikTok video he produces for a given brand.
“Most influencers get to a certain point in their career where they’ve endorsed and supported a number of brands and have a flat fee for these structures, but they start to want a bit more incentive or upside from those relationships,” Raina Penchansky, CEO and founder of influencer management company Digital Brand Architects, told Fortune. “That’s when we start to more meaningfully discuss ways for them to get into deeper relationships with companies or around companies they want to start.”
