Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has revealed what he told striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana before his brace against SuperSport United.
The Amakhosi coach was pleased after side came back from a goal down to beat SuperSport United 2-1 at FNB Stadium on Saturday evening.
New Chiefs striker Bimenyimana netted both goals, earning the laurels from his coach.
“He’s very, very aggressive in that near post and that’s what we said to him, I said ‘attack the near post and the other guys will attack the far post and the penalty spot, the goal will always come in that area’. And he did exactly that,” he told SuperSport TV after the match.
“Good assistance from Ashley, great movement from Sithebe, those half turns and connecting with Yusuf. That one-touch from Yusuf that set Ashley free to be able to put the ball into the near post that led to the first goal.
“And obviously the pressure that we were putting them under, they were bound to crack and we managed to get a penalty and like I said we also created a lot of penalties that we could’ve capitalised on.”
