Melansi has been a highly influential figure in South African media, in 2006 she started her broadcasting career at Gagasi FM as an intern.
In 2011–2023 she worked across major national platforms, including Classic FM and SABC’s Ukhozi FM.
In 2023 she returned to Gagasi FM to take up the executive role of content specialist.Gagasi FM has not yet released an official statement confirming her replacement or the terms of her departure.
