Ex-Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has finally broken his silence about leaving the club and penned an emotional message to players, backroom staff and supporters.

Tuchel was shown the exit door after the poor start to the new English Premier League season.

The Blues lie sixth on the league table after winning three games, drawing one and losing on two occasions in six games.

The London-based side suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the opening match of the UEFA Champions League group stages.

The loss, which many believes is what prompted the club hierarchy to fire the German tactician.
