Senzo Meyiwa murder trial postponed due to unavailability of the witness

On Monday, the Senzo Meyiwa’s case was postponed due to unavailability of the witness.

Advocate Baloyi has requested for a postponement as the state encountered challenges  over the witness’s flight being delayed.

“We are moving to the evidence of what happened in the house, but we could only secure a flight for the witness this afternoon.”

Advocate Mshololo objected to the postponement.

“If there is a problem with this one witness from Durban there are other witnesses from johannesburg. Kelly, Longwe, Ma’khumalo are all in JHB.”

Judge Maumela has granted the application for a postponement overnight due to the unavailability of the witness who was supposed to testify on Monday, 12 September 2022.
