Simmy blesses fans with 3 new tracks

The triple drop brings together the different sides of Simmy, born Simphiwe Majowe Nhlangulela, with Siy’nkanyezi, featuring Zee Nxumalo, One More Time, and Bawo. Listeners will walk through different phases of her personal journey, giving fans more of the woman behind the music.

The singer opened up to Daily Sun, where she shared that two of the new releases reflect very significant stages of life. One More Time reflects on missing a significant person in your life and wanting to be with them again. Then there is Bawo, which she explains is about gratitude.

Specifically, gratitude to God over the periods she’s faced in her life. The KZN-born artist expressed that there were moments in her life where she had to step back and appreciate how far she has come and the role God played.

Journeying into eFairyland

The triple drop has opened the doors to eFairyland, a full story on personal growth. According to a press release, Simmy shows up in this album as an evolved human. The fundamental aspects that make her who she is and what her fans love are still there, but she brings a little bit more to the table.

The album explores themes of love, gratitude, growth, faith, relationships, and womanhood. Still, with these packed themes, the 32-year-old singer promises more depth and more expression in the full album.

In celebration of her new music, Simmy recently shared a behind-the-scenes shot of herself and Zee Nxumalo on the set of the music video for Siy’nkanyezi.
