Motsepe Foundation Championship Wrap – iDiski Times

Hungry Lions are top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table after two rounds of football, after picking up their second successive victory on Saturday. 

The weekend’s fixtures began on Friday when Cape Town Spurs picked up a good 2-1 away win over Magesi.

On Saturday Lions kept up their 100% record as they beat Pretoria Callies 1-0 away. There were home wins for Polokwane City and Venda Football Academy, with City beating Black Leopards 3-0, while VFA beat Platinum City Rovers 1-0.

But there were no goals scored in the other two fixtures on Saturday with JDR Stars drawing with Casric Stars, while Baroka and All Stars also finished goalless.

On Sunday Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila bounced back from a first-round defeat to beat La Masia 2-0, while AmaTuks and Uthongathi played to a goalless draw.
