South Africans to enjoy Tamar Braxton’s vocals

Tamar began her career as a founding member of the family singing group The Braxtons, along with her sisters. They disbanded shortly after their debut album, So Many Ways. Tamar then began her solo career in 2000 with her debut self-titled album.

She released her sophomore studio album Love and War, following a thirteen-year hiatus, which topped the Billboard 200 charts. The songstress is currently on tour in the United States, connecting with fans and sharing an intimate R&B experience.

Ndlala Grandeur performance

Tamar’s Ndlala Grandeur performance will be her first performance ever in South Africa.

For the Ndlala Arena, securing both a high-profile international headliner and host ensures the high-quality reputation the event established since its first showcase in 2025.

South Africans are excited

Tamar has been a well-anticipated act since 2015, when she cancelled her BET Experience Africa performance due to health reasons. This announcement comes as a wonderful surprise to her South African fans, as they flooded her comments with joyous reactions.

One commenter shared that her dreams are finally coming true, and others jokingly worried about the budgeting needed to afford all these line-ups for December.

The excitement is real, and her fans are more than ready to see the singing icon live.
