Richards Bay and midfielder Siphosethu Meveni have parted ways by mutual consent, IDiski Times has learnt.
The 26-year-old was part of the Natal Richboyz side that won automatic promotion last season from the National First Division.
Meveni around 50% of Bay’s games in the second division last season, scoring a crucial goal in the second-last game against TS Sporting which all but confirmed their promotion.
The midfielder had joined the KwaZulu Natal-based side at the beginning of last season and made 17 appearances during which he scored one goal and provided six assists.
Meveni was on the bench during their opening encounter against Lamontville Golden Arrows and he is now free to join a team of his choice.
