Of interest is the fact that the celebrated actor thrust into the limelight came in the backdrop of dancing before he switched the floor to acting. No doubt, since then, he has fast become that star actor we all love to hate.

Themba Sibanyoni’s on-screen character on the Mzansi Magic drama series Diep City has wowed Mzansi, leaving many trying to connect the dots about his life. Despite trying to keep his private life, Mzansi has connected the dots regarding his life before fame. The bubbly actor once served a 6-year jail sentence before making all sorts of headlines with his Gangster character.

Mzansi has tried to tie his on-screen character flair to his jail term just because he nailed his character perfectly. With an illustrious career spanning years, the bubbly actor has fast become one of Mzansis finest. We can’t get enough of him.

In the drama series, he stars as a hardcore gangster who works under Bra Elliot’s command, played by celebrated award-winning actor Mduduzi Mabaso. However, of interest is his storyline with Helen.

Well, to those new to small screens, Themba Sibanyoni is a big name for small screens. With decades of an illustrious acting career, the actor has starred in screenplays such as City Ses’la, Ses Top la, Lockdown and Gadifele. Also, apart from acting, he doubles as a dancer, choreographer and director.

Of interest is that he even starred alongside Morgan Freeman in Stink. Little is known about the crime. He was nabbed and thrown behind the bus. However, things went south at some point, and he ended up serving a six-year jail term.

After having a hiatus on small screens, the actor enjoyed his newfound fame in Diep City. In one of his recent interviews, he revealed that he was glad to have a callback from the showrunners who invited him for the gig. In the wake of his gig, he won best Background Actor for his on-screen character at the Royal Soapie Awards. However, this explains why his street lingo is mainly related to gangsterism and streetwise.
