Maria Menounos bikini: Her Greek getaway story (Pics)

Maria Menounos is the American TV personality and podcast host best known for hosting Extra and E! News, and for co-creating the podcast network AfterBuzz TV.

Now 48, she’s built a career spanning entertainment journalism, hosting and, more recently, deeply personal health advocacy.

Her latest Instagram post came from a family trip to Greece with husband Keven Undergaro and their two-year-old daughter Athena.

In the photos, Menounos poses in a micro-striped bikini, showing off toned abs and curves during what she called “a trip I’ll never forget.”

A tribute to more than the view

Rather than focusing on the swimwear itself, Menounos’s caption read like a love letter to the trip.

She mentioned family hugs that lasted longer, long swims in the Aegean, and island hopping in the Ionian. She also celebrated a close friend’s 50th birthday along the way.

She wrote that Greece “reminded me that the best parts of life aren’t the places we visit… they’re the people we experience them with.”

Fans responded to the photos with genuine enthusiasm, with one commenter joking she “naturally, casually outdoes all the Sports Illustrated swimsuit models.”

A getaway that means even more given her health journey

Menounos’s holiday carries extra weight given what she’s been through in recent years. In 2017, she underwent a seven-hour surgery to remove a benign brain tumour.

Six years later, just months before Athena’s birth via surrogate, she was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer.

Since becoming a mother and moving through her cancer journey, she’s been open about her body changing along the way.

Earlier this year, she told followers she was at her “curviest” yet, having added 15 pounds while still feeling genuinely good.

I find it refreshing when a bikini post isn’t really about the bikini at all.

This one reads more like a thank-you note to a country and the people in it, which honestly makes it more memorable than the outfit itself.

What’s your own “I’ll never forget this trip” holiday memory?
