Sadtu denounces poor school infrastructure & overcrowding

Sadtu says it’s unacceptable that in the 21st century there are still schools in the country with no proper classrooms.

The union is preparing to hold its National General Council next month to deliberate on the lack of proper infrastructure and overcrowding in classes, among other things.

Sadtu’s Nkosana Dolopi said, “these children all of them have the constitutional right to education and therefore the government should therefore by now created environment…”

“All children should be entitled to quality education. And therefore it is unfortunate that up to now we still have children in some of the areas. I looked at this story yesterday some of them being taught at the bus….the environment is not even safe in some of the schools there.”

“We spoke about overcrowding some schools teach up to 80 learners in a classroom and we expect teachers to perform miracles under those conditions.”

Uzalo actor Simphiwe Majozi, has been exposed by his girlfriend, now ex, for allegedly abusing her both physically and emotionally. According to City Press, Simphiwe dated Kekeletso Mahlelebe, a DA Councilor for 6 years, and she told the paper that it was not all rosey.
