Former Big Brother Mzansi contestant King Wanda is officially stepping into the music spotlight with the release of his debut EP, iCulo.

A deeply personal collection of songs

According to King Wanda, iCulo represents years of dedication to his dream of becoming a musician. Having pursued music for nearly two decades, he says the EP reflects different chapters of his life, including heartbreak, personal growth and fatherhood.

As reported by TimesLive, the project is named after his young daughter, whom he describes as his greatest source of inspiration.

The EP also features collaborations with poet Lethu Nkwanyana and Big Brother Mzansi season six winner Liema Pantsi, while King Wanda’s daughter makes a touching appearance on the closing track.

From Big Brother to the recording studio

Although many fans first discovered King Wanda through Big Brother Mzansi, music has always been his passion. He told TimesLive that the reality show helped him develop resilience by teaching him how to deal with both praise and criticism, skills he believes are essential in the entertainment industry.

With more than 150 unreleased songs reportedly already recorded, the debut EP marks only the beginning of his musical journey. King Wanda has also hinted that another, even more personal project could follow before the end of the year.

For fans who enjoyed his authenticity on television, iCulo offers an opportunity to connect with the artist behind the personality, as King Wanda begins a new chapter focused on music and storytelling.
