Mamelodi Sundowns got back to winning ways after beating Stellenbosch 3-0 in a DStv Premiership match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Masandawana came into the match after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune over the weekend.
The win takes the reigning DStv Premiership champions to second place after Orlando Pirates‘ 1-0 win over Marumo Gallants at Orlando Stadium.
It took an early Paseka Mako goal to give Pirates maximum points. Once again, the Soweto giants struggled to score, only managing one goal from the flurry of opportunities created.
The win saw them move to 11 points from six games while Sundowns now have 10 points from their first five matches.
