MacDonald Ndou left the cast of Muvhango, where he had been for more than a decade after his contract was changed back in June. The actor, who was well known and loved for his role as KK, broke many viewers when he left the celebrated Venda series. Fans MacDonald Ndou will be glad to see that the actor has recently joined the MNet drama series Legacy.
MacDonald Ndou as KK in Muvhango
MacDonald was famous for playing the ruthless businessman Khakhathi shortened KK. He was as hard in the boardroom as he was in his everyday life. His fall from grace was epic as people started to think he was a madman. KK went around preaching the gospel while living in a shack despite having millions in his name. He left his son his wealth and left with a promise of coming back after his work in neighbouring countries.
After witnessing a murder by royal family members, Mulalo and Tebogo, he advised them to come clean, which led to their arrest. He also mended fences with his son Kgosi who he did not approve of because he thought he was weak. His exit from the show had a lot to do with a contractual disagreement with showrunners which saw him and Sydney Ramakuwela leaving the series.

Legacy is coming to an end in September

Production of the show and shooting of scenes stopped back in February, and Tshedza Productions, together with their actors, wrapped up after two seasons of one of the best dramas in South Africa.
