South African singer Tyla will bring the Tyla A*POP World Tour to Cape Town and Johannesburg in January 2027. The two concerts will close the 34-date global run after shows across Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and Nigeria.

The Cape Town concert will take place at Green Point Track on Monday, 4 January 2027. Tyla will then perform at the Expo Centre, Nasrec, in Johannesburg on Saturday, 9 January 2027.

Tyla A*POP World Tour ends in Johannesburg

Promoters Showtime Management and Anything Goes will present both South African concerts. The Johannesburg performance will also serve as the tour’s final show, following an African leg that starts in Lagos on 22 December 2026.

The tour begins at Zénith Paris on 12 October 2026. It then moves through European cities including Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Berlin and Stockholm.

Meanwhile, the North American leg starts in November. Confirmed stops include San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

New tour supports Tyla’s A*POP album

The Tyla A*POP World Tour supports her second studio album, released on 24 July 2026. The 14-track project includes “CHANEL”, “IS IT”, “SHE DID IT AGAIN” and “IS IT LOVE”.

The album also features collaborations with Zara Larsson, Babalwa M, MaWhoo and Liquideep.

Tyla told Today that the album title reflects her aim to expand the idea of African pop stardom.

“I bring the A to pop,” she said.

The new schedule marks her first full global headline tour. Pitchfork reported that Tyla planned a world tour for her debut album in 2024 but cancelled it because of an injury. The publication described the new dates as her longest North American tour run so far.

In addition, the Recording Academy lists Tyla as a two-time Grammy winner. She won Best African Music Performance for “Water” in 2024 and “PUSH 2 START” in 2026.
