BOSA expels Gauteng MPL Ayanda Allie after disciplinary process

Build One South Africa (BOSA)  led by Musi Maimane, has fired its Gauteng Member of the Provincial Legislature (MPL) Ayanda Allie.

In a statement released on Thursday, the party expelled Allie following the conclusion of an internal disciplinary process.

The organisation said its board resolved to end Allie’s membership after a process that had been under consideration for more than a year.

According to BOSA, it first indicated its intention to haul Allie before a disciplinary committee in July 2025.

The party said it repeatedly attempted to resolve the matter through engagement, consultation and mediation but was ultimately unable to reach an amicable outcome.

“Despite these efforts, it became evident that there was no viable basis upon which the matter could be resolved,” the statement said.

BOSA said Allie was given an opportunity to appeal the board’s decision but chose not to exercise that right.

“The board’s decision is, therefore, final,” the party said.

BOSA thanked Allie for her service to the party and the people of Gauteng and wished her well in her future endeavours.

She could not be reached for a comment at the time of publication.
