The press tour of one of the year’s most anticipated movie The Odyssey has seen the leading ladies doing the most in the fashion stakes.

We have a look at the fashion choices and looks that make Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong’o and Samantha Morton stand out on the red carpet.

Anne Hathaway, who plays Queen Penelope, the wife of Odysseus and mother to Telemachus. She is heavily pregnant as she trots the world on the promotional run for the film. She is a picture of elegance and beauty, dressing her baby bump in flowing but flattering gowns. Images via Instagram/@annehathaway.

The actress who effortlessly plays Helen of Troy and her sister, Clytemnestra, Lupita Nyong’o is playing with metalics, colour, texture and sexy shapes for her wardrobe for the film’s promotion. Her perfect body is draped in lace, sequence, and mesh, accompanied by sexy heals. Images via Instagram/@lupitanyongo.

Actress Samantha Morton plays Circe, the powerful and enigmatic witch-goddess of Aeaea in The Odyssey. She is conservative but stylish and classy in her fashion choices. Some looks are fun and daring, but do not stray too far from Morton’s personality. Images via Instagram/@samanthamorton.

South Africa’s most famous Hollywood actress Charlize Theron, who plays Calypso, the immortal sea nymph who falls in love with Odysseus. Her striking fashion choices seem to have a black and white theme to them. The colour contrasts, as well as the laces and thicker fabrics make for a very layered wadrobe of red carpet looks. Red carpet darling, and stylist Law Roach’s muse, actress Zendaya did not disappoint as she shows why Christopher Nolan choce her to play Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and warfare. Her powerful fashion choices are sexy, theme-specific, soft and impactful at the same time, making her a standout on the red carpet every time.
