Timm – There’s No Time To Sulk

Orlando Pirates midfielder Miguel Timm was disappointed after their 1-0 defeat to Chippa United on Sunday afternoon.

Pirates lost their first home game of the season at Orlando Stadium, dropping points for a second successive game after only collecting a 1-1 draw against a stubborn Stellenbosch FC side in Cape Town.

It was Chippa’s first win at Orlando Stadium since 2013 and former Bucs star Daine Klate’s first win as head coach thanks to a bullet header from Tanzanian international Abdi Banda in the 86th minute.

Timm, who has come off the bench twice but is yet to start under new coach Jose Riveiro, has lamented his side’s finishing and insisted they need to turn things around quickly.

“I don’t have an explanation really. We had enough chances to end this game very comfortably and I think we need to fix that quick,” he told club’s media team.

“We had targets at the beginning of the season that we wanted to win most of our home games and if we don’t win them the at least take a point.

“So definitely not the direction we should be going. This is not the result that we wanted. There’s not enough time to sulk, we look forward to the next game we need to get over this quick‬.”
