South Africa Marks Mandela Day by Giving Back
South Africans are marking #MandelaDay today by dedicating 67 minutes of their time to serving their communities in honour of the late former President Nelson Mandela.
The annual initiative encourages individuals, businesses and organisations to volunteer, donate or perform acts of kindness, with the 67 minutes symbolising the 67 years Mandela devoted to the fight for freedom, equality and social justice.
Had he been alive, Mandela would have celebrated his 108th birthday today.
