Health Minister Joe Phaahla announced that South Africa recorded its fourth case of monkeypox. Phaahla said in a statement that the case involves a 28-year-old man from the Western Cape.
The patient has a history of travel to Spain and returned to South Africa recently.
The minister is expected to provide more details on government`s response to monkeypox on Friday.
