Zimbabwean Ndodana Mkhanyisi “Mark” Tshuma is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court today as UK extradition proceedings officially begin.
The 45-year-old British citizen of Zimbabwean origin faces charges in the UK for the alleged murders of his wife Zandile (42) and daughters Natalie (15) and Nala (5) in Bedfordshire. He was arrested in Johannesburg’s Kensington on Friday in a joint SAPS-Interpol operation.
He also faces a separate illegal firearm charge in South Africa, with police tracing the alleged sellers. The UK has 40 days to submit its full extradition request.
