Four suspected cash-in-transit robbers have been killed and one arrested following a shootout with police in Nasrec Soweto.
The suspects allegedly robbed the security guards of their cellphones and one firearm before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
One police officer sustained gunshot injuries and was taken to hospital for medical attention.
