Kaizer Chiefs will face Mamelodi Sundowns without their new Nr. 9 Ashley Du Preez and his absence has been explained.
Many were left wondering why Du Preez, who has a great personal record against Sundowns, is not in the Arthur Zwane’s starting XI.
This publication has learnt that the 25-year-old, who opened his scoring for Chiefs against Maritzburg United, picked up an injury.
As a consequence, Zwane was forced to change his line-up and opted to bring in Cole Alexander and Njabulo Blom for George Matlou and Du Preez, seemingly chasing his formation.
