Mamelodi Sundowns host Kaizer Chiefs in today’s crunch DStv Premiership fixture, and the two teams have confirmed their starting line-ups for the game.
It is only the third game of the season for the two sides and both have started with one win and one loss, and will be looking for maximum points.
While Chiefs have a slight advantage overall in their historical head-to-head meetings, in recent years it has been Sundowns who hasve edged the fixture, having won four of their last ten league clashes, while three have been won by Chiefs and there have been three draws.
However, Sundowns have now lost their last two home games, 0-3 to Stellenbosch at the end of the last season when Ashley Du Preez scored a brace and the 0-1 against TS Galaxy.
Tickets for the highly-anticipated game sold like hotcakes, and were sold out by Friday.
