The Kids Can Cancer Foundation confirmed Maart’s death in an emotional statement.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that our beautiful fighter, Creashy Maart, passed away peacefully just a few minutes ago,” the foundation said.
The organisation described her as someone who inspired others through her courage, kindness and selflessness, even while facing immense challenges.
“Her light reached far beyond her own journey and will continue to shine in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her story,” the foundation said.

According to reports, Maart’s death came just a day after her mother, Christelene Maart, shared a deeply emotional update about her daughter.
Christelene said Creashy had already given her birthday gifts ahead of time because she feared she would not live long enough to celebrate her mother’s birthday on 25 July.
The post left many supporters heartbroken, with people hoping mother and daughter would still get to share that day together.
Days before her passing, Christelene also shared that Creashy had endured a difficult night and asked supporters to keep praying for her daughter.
