Sixteen people have died after a bus overturned on the N1 near Touws River in the Western Cape.
According to Cape Town Etc, the bus was carrying 73 passengers when it crashed shortly after midnight on Thursday morning.

Western Cape Mobility Chief Director of Traffic Management, Maxine Bezuidenhout, confirmed the death toll and said two other people sustained serious injuries.
