Thuli P’s natural beauty has people talking

Thuli Phongolo had social media in a frenzy after unedited photos of her surfaced online.

The images, taken during a recent outing with fellow entertainer Thembi Seete, caught many by surprise.

Thuli, dressed casually in a pair of Versace leggings reportedly worth R12,000 and sneakers, was photographed enjoying a visit to Zula Beach in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.

Meanwhile, Thembi Seete opted for a more polished look, donning a tailored suit paired with luxury Louis Vuitton accessories.

Briefly reports that the stark contrast between the candid images and the polished photos Thuli typically shares on her Instagram sparked a stir.

The pictures, which have been reshared hundreds of times since they were posted, showed Thuli looking different from her usual social media posts, sparking debate around body image, beauty standards, and the pressures of celebrity life.

One user, @reloaded2024, weighed in with a blunt take: “Facially, she was never that girl.”

Another, @that_mushy_doll, offered a more reflective view: “Unfiltered pictures give us a realistic perspective.”

Thuli Phongolo first captured public attention as Namhla on Generations: The Legacy and has since built a strong following, not just for her acting but also for her work as a DJ and her enviable fashion sense.
