The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry is expected to return to the United Kingdom in July sparking speculation about a potential reunion with estranged father, King Charles.

Here are five things to know about the possible reunion.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

PRINCE HARRY IS EXPECTED TO RETURN TO THE UK IN JULY

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning a trip to the UK linked to events marking the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027. The visit would be particularly significant because it would be the first time in several years that the Sussexes have returned to Britain with both of their children. However, there are reports of security concerns involving Prince Harry bringing his family to the UK.

PRINCE HARRY IS SPECULATED TO BE REUNITING WITH KING CHARLES

Despite media speculation, a reunion between Harry and King Charles has not been officially confirmed. Reports indicate that discussions have taken place regarding a possible meeting, but scheduling challenges and royal commitments could complicate arrangements.

KING CHARLES REPORTEDLY WANTS TO SEE HIS GRANDCHILDREN

Media reports suggest that Charles would welcome an opportunity to reconnect with his grandchildren. King Charles is a grandfather of five. His son and future King, Prince William has three children with his wife, Kate Middleton – Prince George (12), Princess Charlotte (11), and Prince Louis (8). Prince Harry has two children with his wife, Meghan – Prince Archie (7) and Princess Lilibet (5).

Prince Harry and Meghan’s two kids have spent most of their lives in the US after the couple quit their roles as senior working members of the royal family and moved to the US in 2020.

SECURITY REMAINS A MAJOR CONCERN

Security remains to be a major concern surrounding Harry’s visits to to the UK. Since stepping back as a working royal, Harry has lost access to the level of publicly funded protection he previously received. He has challenged these arrangements in court but has not succeeded in restoring them. Reports claim that Harry’s concerns over the safety of Meghan, Archie and Lilibet have influenced his decisions to travel to the UK in the last few years.

COULD A REUNION MEAN A RECONCILIATION?

Royal experts view the potential reunion as more of a step in the direction of Prince Harry and King Charles rebuilding their strained relationship following years of public disagreements, Meghan and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey and the revelations made in Harry’s memori Spare.
