Sophie Ndaba reflects on life while celebrating birthday

Veteran actress and media personality Sophie Ndaba is celebrating another trip around the sun with a heartfelt message reflecting on faith, gratitude and resilience.

Taking to social media to mark her birthday, Sophie shared an emotional message addressed to God, expressing gratitude for life, healing, and the many challenges she has overcome throughout her journey.

Accompanying her birthday post, Sophie wrote: “Sometimes, go simple and just give thanks!”

She then shared a touching letter of appreciation and faith, acknowledging God’s role in her life and expressing hope for the future.

“I thank You, Lord, for waking me up to see another day, another season activated. I do not take You for granted. I am excited about what You have in store for me. You have healed me, restored me, and shown people who went against me that You are God, my protector.

“I am covered when I go in and when I come out. Thank You, Lord, for adding more years to my life. I will serve You and love You all the days of my life. I decree and declare greatness, love, and continued grace in Jesus’ name, amen,” she penned.

A celebration rooted in faith

Sophie also shared two Bible verses that hold special meaning for her as she celebrates another year of life: ‘This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.’ – Psalm 118:24. ‘The joy of the Lord is my strength.’ – Nehemiah 8:10.”

She concluded her message with a simple yet joyful declaration: “Happy birthday to me.”
