Makazole Mapimpi’s wife marked Father’s Day by sharing what may be the first photo of the Springbok winger with their child since he became a father in 2024.

Many people didn’t know about the pregnancy. The news came to light when Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus let slip during a media briefing that he was on paternity leave because his wife had just given birth.

MAKAZOLE MAPIMPI’S WIFE MARKS FATHER’S DAY WITH PHOTO

Social media was buzzing with people sharing their Father’s Day tributes. One of them was Sasha De Sousa, the wife of Makazole and the mother of his child.

This past Sunday, she posted an adorable photo via Instagram Stories of Makazole holding their baby at the beach. As always, Sasha concealed the baby’s face with an emoji.

SASHA SHARES SNIPPETS OF HER PERSONAL LIFE

As private as Sasha is, she occasionally shares personal parts of her life online. Her content showcases family moments, trips, cooking adventures, her health journey, outfits-of-the-day, and her relationship with Makazole.

In celebration of Mother’s Day in 2026, Sasha’s children from a previous relationship gifted her a mug that reads “Love you, MOM.”

In March 2026, the 35-year-old Makazole clocked his 100th cap with the Sharks. Once again, Sasha celebrated this milestone by posting a series of videos and photos from the stadium, captioned “Here’s to 100 more.”
