Police are widening their net in the crackdown on illegal miners in Gauteng.
On Tuesday, police arrested dozens of people in Randfontein.
This time the sting operation is in the West Rand, led by Gauteng Provincial Commissioner Elias Mawela.
At least two illegal mine workers have been arrested on Wednesday morning.
