Despite being fifty-four years old, he enrolled on a five-month course at the University of Pretoria, studying a course in Project Management. He took it as an encouragement to himself and all who feel that they are behind time in education.

It seemed like a joke when the veteran DJ announced the news, and many fans could not understand why Oskido wanted to return to school. He has a lot of money from his music production and several businesses, including restaurants. It seemed as if DJ Oskido was set in his life and would not think of schooling anymore. Unfortunately, Oskido had other ideas as he went full throttle in acquiring tertiary education. When Oskido starts a thing, he makes sure to finish it and celebrates his milestones expensively.
