Emtee and former ‘Idols SA’ contestant spark dating rumours

For the past few weeks, award-winning rapper Emtee has hogged headlines regarding his love life and continues to do so after being pictured with singer Nandi Ndathane.

The image has since gone viral, with many people happy to see that he had moved on from his ex-wife, Nicole Chinsamy.

On 19 June 2026, TimesLive shared unreleased images of the duo, who snapped the moment during Emtee’s ‘New Haircut, New Journey, New Energy’ photoshoot.

The pictures have since circulated on social media platforms.

The same day, the father of three, real name Mthembeni Ndevu, took to his Instagram account and teased their relationship by sharing a picture, from the knee down, of a man and woman’s legs, captioning the post, “Literally.”

It left many to wonder who the mystery woman was.

Nandi Ndathane supports Emtee at court

The above-mentioned publication also reported that Nandi, a former Idols South Africa Season 18 Top 12 contestant, was seen with the Roll Up hitmaker and his family at the Midrand Magistrate’s Court on 11 June 2026 after he had allegedly breached an order that stopped him from harassing Nicole.

Emtee spent a night behind bars before being released on R1,000 bail.

Source confirms relationship

While Nandi, who hails from Diepkloof, denied their romantic link, a source claimed that Hlubli Radebe, the pair’s manager, introduced them.

The source claimed, “They met in March, but it was around 2 June when they seemed to make things official.
