Masechaba Ndlovu celebrates son’s 17th birthday

Media personality Masechaba Ndlovu is in full-on mom mode as she celebrated a special milestone in her son’s life.

Taking to social media, the former broadcaster and entrepreneur penned a heartfelt message in honour of her firstborn, Lungelo Ntsibande, who just turned 17.

In a touching Instagram post, Masechaba shared a series of photos showing Lungelo’s journey from infancy to teenagehood.

Alongside the pictures, she expressed disbelief at how quickly time had passed.

She wrote: “Happy 17th birthday to my day 1, my firstborn son, Lungelo Ntsibande. I cannot believe I am a mother to a 17-year-old child… a whole human!”

Masechaba got candid about the kind of young man Lungelo has become, describing him as “a gentleman, respectful, kind, laser-focused and highly intelligent.”

But in true team spirit, she was quick to give credit where it’s due, acknowledging the role both her ex-partner and current husband have played in raising him.

“A big shout out to his dad, Mfundo Ntsibande, and my husband @official_ntethe for being present fathers. Team work makes the dream work,” she added.

The celebratory post gave fans a rare glimpse into Masechaba’s personal life, with many taking to the comments to congratulate her and compliment her son’s growth.
