‘He needs to be shown love’: Ex-Pirates captain on Mofokeng’s replacement

Siwelele head coach Lehlohonolo Seema has backed young winger Bohlale Ngwato to succeed at Orlando Pirates.

The 19-year-old joined the Buccaneers from Siwelele earlier this month. He is one of the four signings the club made as they look to compete in the CAF Champions League next season.

Seema said the new Pirates winger needed to be shown love to play at his best.

“Look, he’s a talented young man and I would have loved to have him [much longer] because there’s still a lot that he still needs to learn – to make him stronger. But there’s no doubt there’s talent there, and he can go as far as he wants if he becomes serious, and he stays on the course,” Seema told Soccer Laduma.

“He’s one guy that needs to be hugged and shown love and to talk to him. In terms of pressure, I don’t know if he would handle it.”

Seema said Ngwato has a lot of things to improve but indicated that he was willing to learn and had a good attitude.

“There’s a big room for improvement on a lot of aspects,” Seema warned.

“He’s willing to learn; he’s a good boy. There is no troubles with him. He’s a boy that is willing to listen, and that’s what is good about him. He’s able to listen and take instructions.”

Orlando Pirates could lose Relebohile Mofokeng in the coming weeks and Ngwato is see as a replacement.
