Nicole Nyaba, a popular influencer and ex-girlfriend of AKA, revealed that the late rapper “changed my life” in an episode of All The Smoke on 12 June.

NICOLE NYABA REVEALS HOW AKA CHANGED HER LIFE

The former club host was a guest on All The Smoke, a podcast that is under the Podcast and Chill Network umbrella.

The show was hosted by comedian Toll A$$ Mo, rapper Tshego, and Adulting actor Luthando “BU’ Mthembu.

The episode covered various topics, including Nicole’s career aspirations and her relationship with AKA, who referenced her in his song, One Time.

During a Q&A segment, BU directed a question to Nicole:

“Any relationship that you regret the most out of all the relationships you’ve been in?”

After deep reflection on her past relationship with AKA, whom she once called “the devil,” Nicole expressed her appreciation for the love and support that the late rapper showed her.

“I take that back. During that time I wasn’t matured enough to understand the things that I understand about our relationship now” she said.

“When I look back it right now I think of him in all the good things that he did for me” she added.

Toll A$$ Mo then asked Nicole how she would react if AKA came to her in the middle of the night.

“I would be happy because I would get a chance to tell him that I was wrong about you. I don’t regret being with you. He changed my life,” she added.

Nicole also said that their relationship wasn’t just vibes, as AKA imagined a better future for her, and she is truly grateful for that.

“He believed in me that I could be a rapper one day. I pursued it because he believed in me. He wanted so much for me. Kiernan wanted a lot for me.”
