Dupped as the darling of small screens. South African celebrated actress Sthandile Nkosi is making all sorts of headlines with her unmatched acting flair. She is that star actress we all love to hate. No doubt she is having her fair share of fame that her acting flair has brought about.

Just like those before, she furnished her craze of acting with theatre plays before switching the floor to small screens. Her thrust into the limelight came in the backdrop of her on-screen character in MTV Shuga in 2019. However, a year later, she switched the floor to Vula Vula, a Tv series, before being cast as Mary in Dead Places in 2021.

In 2022 she made all sorts of headlines when she was cast into the starstudded cast of Mr Bones as Amina. She wowed the world at large with her bubbly on-screen character. In the wake of her newfound fame, she has joined the starstudded of Mzansi’s Magic hit drama series The Queen and will be starring alongside some of Mzansi’s finest.

She will be acting alongside celebrated actors like Connie Ferguson, who plays the on-screen character of Harriet Khoza and Themba Ndaba stars as Uncle Brutus. On the other hand, the drama series was trending of late after its lead cast exited the show in an epic style. Hector, Thando and MaJali bowed out throughout a shootout which has since left many connecting the dots about what’s next.

The current storyline of The Queen has wowed Mzansi, leaving a lot to be desired. In the drama series, she will be starring as Londiwe. However, the showrunners have kept her character under wraps, but we are more than convinced that her character will serve us with drama capped with thrills. The bubbly actress confirmed her new gig through her Instagram feeds.

In the wake of her confirmation, social media was set ablaze as Mzansi weighed into the comment sections of several publications with comments of joy and appraisal. Ziyakhala ke manje, this is what we signed for, and we are here for it.

Will it be cancelled if Mzansi Magic returns to the drawing board and reconsiders its decision? The hit series recently saw its cast jumping off the ship after being cancelled in March. Showrunners have since altered their storyline, but Mzansi seems to be enjoying the last ride, and with the addition of Nkosi, we geared for an epic end.
