Official: Chiefs Duo Join Soweto Rivals

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the loans of Lebogang Lesako and Darrel Matsheke to Swallows FC for the 2022/23 campaign.

Amakhosi are continuing their squad revamp and already released 12 players, including the likes of Samir Nurkovic, Daniel Akpeyi and Daniel Cardoso.

On Wednesday, they have now confirmed that youngsters Lesako and Matsheke will don the shirt of the Dube Birds this campaign.

The 23-year-old Lesako made his Chiefs debut back in the 2020/2021, making three sub appearances. Last season he was on loan at Uthongathi where he featured in 22 games.

Meanwhile Matsheke, also 23, also made his debut in 20/21, featuring nine times, and was also at Uthongathi last season, featuring 13 times.
