Move over, Shakira, because Tyla is getting ready to take over the 2026 FIFA World Cup’s next banger. The South African singer and American rapper Future collaborated to provide fans with their new song, Game Time, which has been receiving phenomenal reviews online.

FIFA shared a teaser clip of the track on Thursday, and this morning, when the track dropped, fans have been going crazy.

The collaboration is a big deal for a rising star like Tyla. Not only does she get to be part of the world’s biggest sports tournament, but she also gets to work with a rap superstar.

Future, who is 42 years old already, has 11 number-one albums under his belt and several hit singles, including Mask Off, Too Many Nights, and Life is Good, featuring Drake.

It is also proof that Tyla is a force to be reckoned with. Other musicians on the official FIFA World Cup album include Blackpink’s LISA, Jelly Roll, and Rema.

Fans have gone as far as saying, “It’s already bigger than Waka Waka in my books.”

Another person added, “This will be the biggest FIFA World Cup song of the year because of Tyla. In the same way, the 2010 FIFA World Cup that was hosted by South Africa became the best FIFA World Cup in history.”

Another user online shared, “Game Time, it’s a solid World Cup song. Tyla is the clear standout, while Future does his job. People are comparing it to Waka Waka, which is a tough standard to meet, but it’s still a good song that fits the tournament. OLÉ OLÉ HAIBO HAIBO.”
